Private Parties Made Playful And Personal

Celebrate birthdays and family milestones with sensory-rich fun, comfortable spaces, and a gathering designed around you

A More Personal Way to Celebrate Together
I host private birthday parties in a welcoming sensory play environment where children can explore, move, and enjoy time with their guests. The private setting helps families celebrate comfortably while keeping the focus on connection, laughter, and age-appropriate fun. It is a thoughtful option for birthdays that call for more than a traditional gathering.
Each party is centered on the people you invite and the kind of experience you want to create. Children can enjoy the center's sensory play opportunities while adults have room to visit and share the moment. From family birthdays to small milestone gatherings, I provide a warm setting that feels personal, playful, and easy to enjoy.

## About

I’m Barbara Rocha, an autism mom and the founder of GiftedLilOnes Play & Sensory Center.
My son was my inspiration, but GiftedLilOnes was created for yours, too.
My journey began simply as a mom wanting more for her child. I wanted a place where my son could walk through the doors and just be himself—where his differences were understood, his needs were considered, and he could experience childhood in a way that felt comfortable for him.
That vision became GiftedLilOnes.
Every part of our center has been created with purpose and with neurodivergent children in mind—from opportunities for play and connection to spaces where children can slow down, regulate, and reset when the world feels like too much.
But this is about more than my son. It’s about all of our children. The ones who experience the world differently. The ones who deserve places that see their strengths, understand their needs, and remind them that they belong.
Being an autism mom gave me the inspiration. Our children gave me a bigger purpose.
Inspired by my son. Created for yours. Built with love, purpose, and understanding.

## FAQ

### What is an indoor sensory play center?

An indoor sensory play center is a welcoming environment where children can explore movement, textures, sounds, imaginative play, and social interaction. These spaces are designed to support different ways of playing while giving children room to engage at their own pace.

### Who can benefit from sensory-friendly play?

Children with a wide range of interests, abilities, and sensory preferences can enjoy sensory-friendly play. It can be especially helpful for children who benefit from a more understanding environment, including many neurodivergent children, while remaining open and enjoyable for all children.

### How can play support my child's development?

Play gives children natural opportunities to practice communication, problem-solving, coordination, creativity, and social skills. In a supportive setting, children can build confidence and explore new experiences through activities that feel engaging rather than pressured.

### What should I expect from an inclusive play environment?

An inclusive play environment welcomes children as they are and recognizes that each child may participate differently. Families can look for thoughtful spaces that encourage acceptance, flexible engagement, and respectful support for individual sensory and communication needs.

### Is a sensory play center a substitute for therapy?

Sensory play can complement a child's everyday learning, social recreation, and therapeutic goals, but it is not a substitute for professional medical, developmental, or therapeutic care. Families should continue working with qualified providers for individualized guidance while using play as a positive way to explore and connect.

### Are we accepting Social Recreation through our local Regional centers?

Yes! We accept Social Recreation funding through local Regional Centers for eligible families. Approval is determined by your Regional Center and service coordinator. Once approved, our team can help guide you through the next steps. 💙
