Open sensory play gives children room to choose activities that match their interests, energy, and comfort level. The environment offers varied ways to move, touch, imagine, and engage, so each child can create a play experience that feels natural to them. Children can explore independently or enjoy shared moments with siblings and peers.
Families can settle into a welcoming indoor space without needing to follow a fixed activity plan. Children ages 0-12 can discover new play possibilities while caregivers remain close and involved. The session supports joyful movement, creative thinking, and connection through play that can look different for every child.

How It Works
Arrive And Settle In: Enter the play center, get familiar with the space, and prepare for an enjoyable visit.

About
I’m Barbara Rocha, an autism mom and the founder of GiftedLilOnes Play & Sensory Center.
My son was my inspiration, but GiftedLilOnes was created for yours, too.
My journey began simply as a mom wanting more for her child. I wanted a place where my son could walk through the doors and just be himself—where his differences were understood, his needs were considered, and he could experience childhood in a way that felt comfortable for him.
That vision became GiftedLilOnes.
Every part of our center has been created with purpose and with neurodivergent children in mind—from opportunities for play and connection to spaces where children can slow down, regulate, and reset when the world feels like too much.
But this is about more than my son. It’s about all of our children. The ones who experience the world differently. The ones who deserve places that see their strengths, understand their needs, and remind them that they belong.
Being an autism mom gave me the inspiration. Our children gave me a bigger purpose.
